Last Semester

Last Semester I learned a lot. Mostly I learned that it is harder to keep up good grades in high school than in middle and elementary school. In fact, it is completely different. In middle school I would have just waited until the last minute to do everything and I would still have a good grade and wouldn't even get stressed. Now that I am in high school, I have realized that it is not good to wait to last minute or procrastinate. Instead, I try to finish all my homework the day I receive it so I won't be as stressed during my hectic weekends.
I can use this thing that I have learned last semester to help me for this semester. So far I have found that reading through my notes every night is a good way to start preparing for upcoming tests or quizzes. Also, I try to schedule my days. Every morning I try to schedule out my time evenly while keeping in mind all of the things I have to do that day. I make sure to prioritize my time starting with things that matter the most, like school, and then ending with less important things. This system is beginning to improve my grades and making sure I don't procrastinate as much.

  1. I agree High School if very different than Middle or Elementary school. I also agree that procrastinating does not work. It is a good idea to plan out the day and the week so you can get the maximum done and keep your commitments.

  2. High School is definitely more difficult in that way. And I think that your method of planning is very smart!

  3. High school is way different from middle school. Maturity and keeping up with schedule is a big key in high school.
