Throughout this year, I have learned many new and interesting things in my academic classes and about myself. As a student, I have learned more beneficial ways to study and have become more in control with my time management skills. I have gotten better at not procrastinating near as much as I used to, and I have been spending less time on my phone during my study time. I have learned that these tactics help me, as a student, to learn more efficiently and have helped me feel more prepared for upcoming tests. Another thing I have learned is how to get into a book. In the past, it would have taken me this whole year to read one novel, and now it only takes me three quarters of the year. This is because I have learned to enjoy reading more in my free time instead of feeling it is a boring obligation to read.
Out of all the things I have learned this year, I think I have learned the most about writing. I have never necessarily been bad at writing, but I knew I could improve my writing I just never really wanted to improve. This year; however, I have learned the traits of good writing which has helped me understand the subject of writing on a whole new level. Using the knowledge I know have of what makes me a better student, I will use this information to help me become the best student that I can be. I will make better study habits, be more prepared for tests, and put in 100% effort on all the work that I do.
Great post! Sounds like reading and writing is fun for you! Getting into a book can be hard at first.
